I suppose I have gotten more re-orientation to body work and related tasks on this build than with most of the projects I have done in the past. I have gone about the body work thing a little differently than most I have read about on this forum. I suppose it has partly to do with my agenda which was to drive for a while before finishing the bodywork. I have done that since I have a thousand miles on the car while having just grinded the seams and doing a minimal amount of body filling and sanding along with a coat of hot rod black primer. On the back page of the latest issue (Feb 2014) of Kit Car Builder you will find a picture of me sleeping - what I call a power nap - in-between track events - in this case at the Carolina Motorsports Park. I can sleep in the seat - not while driving - or in the trunk, in the parking lot of Kennebunkport, or along road in the Arizona desert! Now if I could just find a restaurant selling green eggs with ham along Route 66, Jake and I would be off on the road again!
