Wednesday is supposed to be my day to work on this thing, but work ran late and I spent some time on the 818 forum dealing with posts there. I got maybe a solid hour in on the model, which is less than I'd like but satisfying. I'm warming up some clay now and will put it on and take more pictures before I go to bed.

This weekend has been very productive. I didn't get to the studio to work on my pottery, but I have been attacking the model quite a bit. With the toaster oven providing adequate heating, I was able to slather enough hot clay onto the foam buck to get somewhere. I also remembered to print off wheel templates at the office, so I now have wheel-shapes in the appropriate places. After a much needed 2 week vacation in Orlando, it was great to get back to the shop for a few hours this weekend and work on the car. With each session out in the shop, it’s becoming apparent that the day the body goes on is getting closer and closer.

Overall, not a tremendous amount of progress to be made, however, I did reach another milestone, the day the body came back off of the ceiling where it’s resided for more than a year.
