  1. Steering system installed

    Next on the list was the steering system. I borrowed my husband's drill press to drill the holes for the brake light switch mount.

    Then drilled the holes in the frame for the master cylinder mount.

    Master cylinder mount brackets were painted glossy black to match the frame.

  2. Trunk panels installed

    It was nice to take a break from wiring and do something that doesn't require thinking or planning 10 steps ahead:)
    Here it is, trunk is done, now it's waiting for dynomat and carpet

  3. Chassis Wiring

    it's been a while since my last post, but, as I found out, wiring takes a lot of time. Well, not actually running the wires, but debating where to run it, to make it less visible.
    Here are some pictures from what I have so far....
    My neighbor came over the other night and welded ground studs:

  4. Panhard rod & rear brakes installed

    I'm on vacation from work right now, so my FFR build is on FIRE! Updating the blog is lagging a bit behind the actual work.

    Got the panhard rod installed.

    And the rear rotors and brake calipers got installed. Had to do some shimming to get the calipers on the rotors straight.

  5. Coupe pedal box

    Does anyone know if the mounting plate for the wilwood pedal box is different for the coupe compared to the roadster? If any one has photos of how it mounts I would appreciate it
