I am drilling away on my panels. I am down to just the trunk area. Next I am planning my attack on running brake lines and fuel lines. I ordered a 3 cylinder cnc reservoir setup from Fortes and am still debating upgrading the stock gas tank to a Boyds tank. My tank has some fitment issues. Best of luck to all the other builders out there, I hope to have some good photos coming soon!
We did the 1st startup of #99 today and I'm a happy camper. It was almost anti-climactic as we primed the fuel system (old school carbadrooler) with a primer bulb from an outbooard motor fuel tank, fixed a couple of minor leaks, gave it a couple of good accelerator pump shots, and she fired right off. The Wheeler Power 347 sounds pretty stout (dyno'd @ 425HP/430lbs-ft @ 5000rpm. I think this thing is going to be scary fast. No gokarting as the brakes weren't quite ...

I feel with all the other souces of stress in life, the build of the car shouldn't be one of them. My husband was telling me that my car's rear-end was getting in the way in the garage, and I really should get it prepped ...
Today I was trying to retrofit speakers on the rear aluminum panel. It took a little bit longer than I thought it will, but at the end of the day I was happy with the result. I was able to fit 6x8 Pioneer speakers in the back and planning to use 5" infinity speakers underneath the dash in the front. here how it looks from the trunk Biggest challenge was to keep it as far as possible from the back of the seat. It looks like the seats ...
