Competition Coupe: Spy Shot

Rating: 2 votes, 5.00 average.
Thanks to the overtime efforts of The Body Shop (painter Miguel Santos and shop owner Cynthia Connors) in Santa Rosa, CA, and the hard work of Rick and Diane Anderson and Hank Lopez, the body is painted and on the Coupe. We've been working double overtime to get her ready for her unveiling at the Monterey Motorsport Reunion, just three weeks from now.....More photos coming, but for now it's back to work!

Awesome progress...looks great! What's the paint color...is it Viking Blue? It seems the competition coupe building frenzy has developed it's own element of competition. With the all star building team out there it's pretty clear that you guys have pulled into the lead in getting the car on track first! Should we hold you a spot in the Watkins Glen garage for the October 1-2 Group 52 open track event?

Yep, Viking Blue and Wimbledon White.....IMHO, it looks awesome paired with the Wimbledon White chassis......Numbers will be on in the the next few days, and the glass will be installed next week.....Totally stoked to be joining Peter Brock and group of 20 Coupes at Monterey next month! Chassis #199, our original #28 Coupe, which won the Western Endurance Racing Championship (WERC) last year and ran the 25 Hours three times, will be going along as well....Should be an amazing five day celebration of the 50th Anniversary.....OK...Back to work!
