I've decided to deviate from what seems to be the norm and NOT get too detailed about my build. Especially the non-custom parts. There are a ton of build journals out there that go into fine detail about installing each bolt of the footbox, etc and I dont think we need more of that. I certainly dont want to do it. So Ill just post a few blogs showing my general progress as we go along. As I get to electrical and interior stuff where I start in with customizing my car to my particular vision I may post special entries about my mods.
Enough talk lets build.

First part goes on! Tip: Theres no rush to get these rivited on. Would have been nice to be able to remove them when installing suspension and brake lines etc.

I replaced my fox spindles with sn95's from a 96. ABS baby.

Ok, my thoughts so far. Building this thing is FUN! Even the tedious stuff like drilling aluminum is, in the end, satisying. Seing a major component go in is great.
I'm already getting a sense for how much attention these things get. As you can tell, I do most of my work out in the driveway and several people have stopped while driving by to ask what I'm doing and neighbors like to stop over and look things over. DougR stopped by the other day with his roadster to help me get started on brake line bending and seeing a completed car really got the neighbors excited for me to finish. When Doug started his car to leave, I thought the neighbor boy was going to soil himself. Every time he sees me its all questions about the car.
