Chassis Prep Complete: The "Build" Begins

With a solid Por-15 base coat, we followed up with two layers of Wimbledon White top coat, and finished with a coat of clear finish. We allowed the chassis to cure for two days in the beautiful California sun, and began parts installation on April 1, 2012.

    that looks great guys fantastic job. I love the white frame to show any cracks or damage.
    one thing you may want to add is a support bracket to the upper 3rd link mount. In the last picture add it from the bottom of the bracket to the 2x3 down tube.

    Thanks Mark!! Great suggestion, and we'll consider adding the bracket to the 3rd link mount.....Sure miss seeing you more often, and wish you were out here building with us! Hope to see you soon!!

    Wow, that is so pretty you won't want to get it all dirty and grubby on a racetrack! Well, maybe once in a while! Just don't race it in the rain.
