Get to work!

Well, in case you didnt know, I live in the Las Vegas area and it gets a little hot here. The car was delivered mid June..the oven season.
For those who arent familiar, anything metal left outside for more than 5 minutes becomes too hot to touch. When I first moved here, I branded myself on the forearm with a nickel that was sitting on the passenger seat of my car. Hot. As I am working in a confined area (1 bay of a 2 car garage) I need to work out in the driveway. Especially in the first stages of the build. So, the car sat in the garage until temps started to drop. Not to mention I had plenty of distractions. I like to sail on weekends and the Padres were in a penant race. Had stuff to do most weekends. Anyways, the temps finally started cooling off and I got to work.

First step, remove the body and get it on the buck. I needed to store it in my back yard and have a fairly small side yard. Made it difficult to figure out how we were going to get it back there. Finally decided through the living room was the easiest route. Double front doors and the body on its side just fit through the slider. Thats JayGuy from the forums my main build buddy and my daughter Kimmy.
