Big day today. I had been killing time on smaller projects while I waited for craigslist to pop with an engine hoist and stand. I was starting to lose patience and almost bought them at the Harbor Freight tent sale, but luck won out in the end.
This was my first engine pull and I did it all alone, so it took time and mistakes were made, but it turned out ok.

And here it is on the stand. I have the garage all put back into storage mode as I head out on a trip tomorrow.

I didnt do this one! I guess you have to expect some things like this when you get such a cheap donor. I dont think it will matter much as Im not gonna be making huge torque with this engine.
