Owners Manual

Rate this Entry
WAY back before we had any real forum to search for parts, etc., I created an Owners Manual to carry with me while traveling. It listed belts, hoses, plugs, bulbs, and mostly fuses! It was created as a Word Document so that others could add to it, adjust it, but it was to be a starting point for others. It was laidout to print on a couple of sheets - front and back- then folded to make a small booklet.
Here is the link to a Factory Five's ORIGINAL Mark I's owners manual I created.

And in case you would like it as a zip file here is the same document as a zip file

I love it. I don't have it all in one document but I do have a lot of the same information tucked in a plastic envelope that I keep in the car. Because builds are so varied it will be difficult to have a one size fits all sheet like that but to use yours as a template would be a great idea. Some things probably could be filled in such as starting alignment specs but for the most part as people piece their cars together they could fill in things like hose and brake pad part numbers etc...

Thanks, Ralph, I had a copy but lost it in a hard drive crash. Now I can keep everything up-to-date. There aren't too many Mk I guys around any more, so I guess we'll have to stick together. How many miles do you have on your car now?
