FFR Kool Aid

Finally managed to get around to ordering the kit. After attending the open house this year and drinking some FFR Kool Aid I can finally say we've ordered the kit.

With everything else going on in life, the order process was over in about 2 minutes and the trumpets and fanfare that I could hear in my end while I was talking to Jason kind of fizzled out. The order process was so simple it was kind of a let down. I guess spending nearly 4 years reading and planning paid off.

Big thanks to Mark Dougherty and Jason Lavigne for all their patience of the last few months. More vendor orders will be getting placed in the coming weeks (North Race Cars, Levy Racing and Breeze Automotive).

I'm actually a little bit terrified now - no more talking/reading, I'll soon have to start doing.

    I know that feeling, its like when I ordered mine I half expected balloons to come poring down from the ceiling or something. But really it just felt like I ordered something off of QVC.
    But congrats, now the fun begins.

    I'm going to be a posting whore when we get to the US. We are doing a lot of mods that aren't documented or at the least, not very well documented. I've gotten so much from the forum I'm looking forward to giving something back.

    Martin, Welcome to the club man. I can promise you lots of difficulty, frustrations, triumphs, "aha" moments, excitement, new friends, and the in the end, one of the most rewarding experiences in life. Sorry the trumpets didn't sound loudly enough! I am shouting from my side THANKS AND CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!

    Really it's a testament to how much I've gained from the forums and how much knowledge the sales/tech guys had. They asked questions that I knew the answer to from the forums, and they confirmed that it would all work. I even discussed a few fairly radical ideas for an under car exhaust.

    If the new Wilwood package fits the Team III wheels from Richard Oben I think I'll be adding to the order later today

    ps. I have friends with road legal but race prepared special edition Lotus Elise cars over here. They regularly race guys with Porsche GTR's. My goal is to over take them on the outside while going around corners. Lofty ambitions I know. Worst case, I'll get them on the straight
