View Full Version : Aluminum panel to cover trunk electrical access opening

Good morning, I think I'd seen that one of the vendors makes an aluminum panel to cover the electrical access panel in the botton of the trunk door. Just can't remember who. I'm sure that it wouldn't be all that difficult to make one, but just thought I'd see if anyone could point me in the right direction of who's selling them pre-made. Thanks!

I made my own, as have many others based on what I read in the forum. I had excess aluminum anyway, and this was a pretty easy fab. I also chose to wrap it in the same material I used for the dash. There are some photos in this album link:

Just another thought if you have material to make your own.

Cool. Hadn't thought of wrapping it, but it does finish it nicely. Nice job! I think I'll probably end up cutting one myself. Certainly wouldn't be the hardest thing we've fabricated on this build!
