I have a question, the first of many I am sure. I have a MK IV ordered and have a 94 GT rear end. Will the 10.5 inch Halibrand wheels fit or am i better off using the 9". I am hoping to use the rear end as is (it's a budget thing). Also, what size tires will fit?

Welcome to the forum. Sorry I can't answer your question, but I hope that someone else will shortly.

I guess they will both "fit" but if you have the oversized brakes the 15s won't fit. Either way, go with the 10.5 width. They fit nice under the body. The tires depend on which wheel you use.

To use the 17x10.5 or 15x9 FFR wheels you'll need to bring that '94 rear end to Fox width which is 1 1/2" narrower. This will allow the use of a tire up to 315/35-17 or 295/50-15. Contact Richard Oben at North Racecars for caliper brackets and axles to reconfigure the rearend:

I know you're trying to stay on a budget but believe me when I say that this $340 will be some of the better money you'll spend on the build and save lots of frustration later on.

Cheers,
Jeff
