Dash question

Hi: My name is Neil and I recently picked up Coupe #600. A quick question about the dashboard. I have made mine two piece. I noticed when the dashboard was one piece the front section (the section with the defroster vents) sat on the front center body and formed a strange curve. It seems I have seen some that were relatively flat. What is the normal plane for the front of the dash. Hope I made the question clear. Thanks

Do you have a picture to show us what you mean? The defroster holes are on the "top" of the dash, and the "front" is where the steering shaft and gauges mount. In any case, I suspect that when you mount (rivet/screw) your dash in place it (the top) will flatten out.
