Where'd it go?

so, last night i was updating THE transmission Thread. the forum crashed... Now I can't find That Thread. Was it removed by mods? or was it part of the crash that removed it.

I doubt the mods would have removed it, there was nothing but useful information in it.

It looks like the database crash ate it. :(

BUMMER!!!! hopefully there was a backup... somewhere.

i'd like to see if we can restore that, as i don't particularly want to COMPLETELY rewrite it. But if no backup can be found, i'll do it.

I'm so, so sorry. I've been on a call with the tech department of our ISP and the bottom line is that I can't restore a single thread. I can restore a whole table, or the whole DB, but not a single thread.

I just stickied that thread this past weekend, and was going to put it in the WIKI. I know you put a LOT of effort into that thread and I can't tell you how sorry I am that it's gone.

No worries.... it happens. Technical glitch, i bet it was because i was actively updating it when it crashed, file became corrupt, got deleted.


i'll write up the thread again, and this time make it EVEN BETTER. (just like me to get back up and run right back into the same wall that knocked me down before LOL)
