This year, it seemed the show was a bit smaller, but perhaps this was due to Main St. now being utilized for the show. It made for lots of extra walking around. From everything I could see, the crowd of spectators appeared very well behaved; unless someone chimes in, I don't believe anybody's car was marred or tainted in any way so I would call this a good first outing on Main St.

This years photos seems a bit short this year; I think I was just tired from all the walking around but enjoy what I did get:

I don't know but based off the lens of my Nikon, I'd say between 75-100. Pretty sure it wasn't over 100. Best to ask FFR the actual count (who picked up their packet.)

Man those are some great pictures. Man, what a difference when you look at the difference between the ones taken in the pier parking and the ones on Main. The Main St ones give this sense of nostalgia or something with the shops behind them. I love this one. that's the way I felt all day being able to hang out at Kelarney's and sit next to the car and listen to the band. It was all right there!

I'd bet it's also a good depiction of Dave Smith snoozing away thinking of what he's built, the people, the show, surfing, winning the autocross....zzzzzz

Thanks for posting them, really great angles of the different cars!

FWIW-I'm sitting by my roadster (#98) on Main St.
Mesa Mike (the show DJ) & I both tracked our cars on Thursday before the show at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, so I left the cling-on numbers for the HB show.
HUGE thanks to Dave Hodgkins for the BBQ/open house Friday. It was over the top!
Didn't go to track day Sunday, the wives had had enough, so we took the ferry to Catalina Island, had a trolley tour & lunch, then drove back to Phoenix Sunday night. WHat a long, GREAT weekend!
Thanks,
Will

Talking to Sally when we moved the registration tent up the hill, the car count was very close to last year. at that time it was 99 with about 13 no-shows.

I am still struggling to get thru the day and havent finished thanking all the people involved. Erik Hansen worked his arse off and did an awesome job with the autocross and helping with a ton of aspects. The community shines so bright at this event, Shoot Doug (68GT500 man) was everywhere helping park, sherpa parts and show stuff, THANKS Doug you were great. The volunteers like Ron and Kelly spent a ton of time helping folks and there are so many people who made such a difference. WHAT A BLAST!!!!

The show was a load of fun! For someone still building I was amazed at how many people I talked to that we're either building like me, had purchased the kit but it hadn't arrived yet, or were getting ready to pull the trigger (and the show sealed the deal). Missed out on the drive down with the Northern California crew on Friday due to family commitments but that didn't stop me! 6am flight from San Jose to have my brother in law pick me up at the airport and hang out with me for the day. Was home by 11am Sunday...

Great meeting Dave Smith who makes all of this possible as well as a lot of owners. I never thought there would be something to lure me away from the Mustang scene I've been a part of for the last 25 years but the build it from scratch idea and the awesome people part of the FFR community is in a different league. Everyone is great and I am happy to now be part of it!

Great pictures and great cars. I was sick this year and unable to make the show. My suggestion is to place the show in one location. I like the Main Street area. Is it large enough to hold all the cars?

Hopefully I'll have my car ready to participate next year

I survived but the scars will never go away...
Seriously, that gauge set I've seen on a GTM too IIRC.

They are Speedhut Gauges (I had to zoom in to see the name). He has the Revolution series:

I really do like that tachometer as it's programmable.

I just had to reply to this thread. I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at this thread and noticed my car in the first two shots. What a blast we all had at HB this year. My car not being finished was a great show car and for the last month leading up to the show I was buried in the 93 wire harness pulling wires and my hair out I got my car ready for the show. When you work only weekends on your car and doing a lot of custom modification like my dash took literally about a year to point you see in the second picture. I was very proud to show it off at the show. About two months of wiring with a two week vacation just prior to the show I finished about 90 % of the wiring.

The show was very awesome and I thank Dave Smith for making it all possible for all of us. For those of you interested in my dash here a thread link.
