View Full Version : Coupes and GTM at the Mitty

The rain started at 2:00 am on Sat. morning and finally quit about 9:00 am. We ended up with 3 coupes and a GTM as the only evidence of a Cobra Corral. Cool and windy but dry conditions at the track. Followed Chris and Cindy Knox's gorgeous black GTM during the evening parade/touring laps. Double vision photography got a nice show of the two of us exiting the esses and entering turn 5. Still having a picnic dinner at the motorhome at 7:00pm. Come join us!

I've always loved the curves and the shape of the Daytona Coupe, and especially the FFR Type 65 Coupe. But Gary, I have to say, I get wound up every single time I see your car. I can't figure out what it is about yours that makes it stand out to me more than most others. They're all beautiful cars, but for some reason your's looks more sleek, and mean.

Beautiful car! I'd love to see it first hand some day.

Is this the Original Factory Five (LS6) GTM that was sold 2 or 3 years back?

No, this black beauty GTM was built by Chris Knox ... however, it does have the BBS wheels from the original GTM ... Chris bought that wheel/tire combo from FFR.
