Engine cover for Mod motors

Well has you all know the 4.6 engine are reliable safe, powerfull BUT UGLY and I needed to do something about it! So here is what I came up with. I fabricated an engine cover out of sheet metal with loovers to allow air to flow throught it ( and to look cool!!). Got it painted to match....and here is the result.

I agree, the mod motors are pretty ugly. That is a great Idea. I've been thinking about doing something like that as well. I pictured in my mind something smaller and more square but I like what you've done. If you were to do it over again, what would you change?

Well if I was doing it over. I would use the same material, but would change the welding methodes. Generated too much heat and created distorsion Inhad to fix. Has fot the shape love it just the way it is
