I just got done putting the final touches on 7709 over the last few days and can now call it done! I shot the Rangoon Red paint job about two weeks ago with the help of my friends Tom (TCOON) and Amir and the body was reinstalled last week. The car has an original 1965 HIPO 289 block with a 302 crank, rods, Keith Black pistons, Comp 284 hydraulic roller cam with 1.6 roller rockers. The heads are Trickflow's with 2.02/1.6 valves fully ported and polished topped with a Blue Thunder Cobra intake and Holley 650 double pumper.Transmission is a T5 and has a 8.8 w/3.55:1 rear axle with a 3 link set up. I want to thank Factory Five for a great product and answering a plethora of dumb questions and to everyone else who helped out along the way.

Nice! Love the bright red & 15" wheels, but I guess I'm biased. Congrats!

I think the solid red looks really good.

I love the red without the stripe because it shows the curves better than the red with stripe I did. You must be proud of such a quality build.

Red Hot! I really like the no stripe look and this beauty convinces me that going stripe less is the way to go. Congratulations! Carl

Cool, thank you guys for all the compliments. I was really going for an old school look and wanted to keep the car close to the original vibe. I was a little skeptical on how the 1965 Ford Rangoon Red would look, but I'm super pleased with the results.
