Question about production

With the 818, Factory Five is going to bring the ffr concept into a more affordable price bracket, more diverse fan base, and with more units headed internationally.

What type of first year production is FFR shooting for? I would imagine that this product could easily double (triple?) the amount of kits sold. What expansion is planned for the manufacturing end?

I've said this is a tremendously important car for us. I cant imagine production capacity in our existing facility to be able to expand more than 4-6 chassis per week. What a wonderful problem it would be if demand is strng overseas and we can export the FFR experience to other countries in larger numbers. The good news is that with the core design in CAD and tooling derived from the same, the ramp-up is not very difficult. We will see where this road takes us. We are hoping for the best and planning for it as well. I wish I could be more specific, but we are a ways away on the car and considerations of production have time yet to plan.
