Pretty much all roads, road drainage ditches, etc sucks in LA . How concerned should I be with the ground clearance on the 818? Eating up the front end is not my favorite thing to do. Even my driveway sucks.

Greg, yeah the South Bay roads kinda suck.

Strictly guessing, but I'd imagine the clearance will be between 3-4". As long as you don't slam it you should be OK...

This is one of my considerations as well. The 405 is messed up... I swear I get a small amount of air over some of the ridiculous parts.

I get 4.0" clearance in front by scaling this photo, based on a 95" wheelbase.

With coilovers the ride height will be adjustable, like the roadster. I found that when set at 3.75" my roadster cleared virtually all speed bumps and driveways I encountered. Your area may be different, so may your height.

I guess we'll wait and see. Thanks for the feed back.

I wonder how the 818 front overhang compares with various production vehicles. Hopefully, it's shorter than average.

Clarification: I mean how far does the front bodywork extend forward of the wheels.

Red car had 4" at the front and 4.5" rear

just don't go lower than they cut the grass at the local track.
