Trying to pull out the dash on this 88 convertable, took all the screws I could see out, but something still holding it in ? Besides going to town with a sawzall, what are my other options ? Is there some bracketing I am not seeing ? I am assuming the center sonsole is scewed from underneath since this is an automatic car, thanks

There are some screws way up next to the windshield that gave me some trouble on my '91. I used a craftsman 90 degree ratcheting screwdriver to get them out. Also, I think I took the whole heater box out with the dash and had to remove the heater hoses in the engine bay, at the last minute. I think the center plastic around the shifter and ashtray screws in to the metal frame up under the dash and at the back near the armrest. The armrest is bolted to the tunnel, I think. Hope this helps.
