Huntington Beach show
Well I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt that I had the fastest, lowest, coolest, best GTM at the show. Now before you make the assumption that I'm a pompous, arrogant jerk (which might be true depending on who you talk to). You should know that I had one other definitive phrase to inspiring my confidence. I was the ONLY GTM at the show!!!

If there was any place on the planet I thought I would see more GTMs, it would be southern California. I did get to talk to some of my GTM buddies. Arron and his wife (sorry didn't catch her name) from Paso Robles, Tobe, and Daniel. All came by to say hi and trade war stories. I want to thank you guys so much for the kind words and stopping by to break up the repetitive questions. What is it? How much does it cost? How fast does it go? You know, the normal stuff. Congratulations Aaron on a best paint award on your roadster. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

One thing that surprised me, was how many people who came to talk, had already build other Factory Five kits and now were considering a GTM kit. Guess I didn't realize the love of building bridges the genre gap.

The show could not have been in a better location. Huntington Beach was incredible. I got a pretty cool parking spot. Weather was perfect. Lots of cars, even more people and great fun was had by all. Can't wait for next year.

Steve -
I saw your beautiful GTM - you had a great spot to park it. I'm building a Coupe, more images are in the So Cal section. . . .

Really enjoyed the day and meeting so many "like minded" car enthusiasts.

Could have talked with Steve for hours about all the detail that he has put into his GTM. Any of you GTM guys should make a point to see this car. Outstanding!

Steve, I intend on making you work for future trophies! May be a couple years till I show up with my GTM but would like to reserve a place of honor next to yours!

Looks like I better take my car apart and start over? NOT!!! With a best paint and a roadster build under your belt, I'm sure whatever you come out with will be out standing. I'll be totally honored if I can just say we were part of the inspiration that fueled the next level of build. In two years ours will be all rock chipped, paint faded and balding tires. Yours will be fresh and new.;)
It was great meeting you person to person. And your roadster was awesome!

Those are some awesome pictures. They definitely get you a fast ride in the GTM. After all in only takes about 10 seconds to from 0-100-0. Or maybe you prefer 70 mph. Freeway cruz, windows up, ac blowing and a symphony of cylinders 6 inches from your shoulder. As you wave at the freaked out people hanging out their window trying to take that perfect camera phone shot. We can do either one. You just need to give me a days notice and drive up to Bakersfield.

Did we talk at the show? I talked to about a million people and I'm the worst with names. But if you tell me what we talked about I bet I'll remember.

Thanks again for the great pictures.

I do not recall talking or meeting with you. I was too busy taking the pics and drooling, keeping my distance so I don't mess up the paint. Will definitely have to plan a trip to Bakersfield. I think it will totally be worth it. pm on the way......
