replacing a radiator in a 2003 mark 4

Do I need to remove the body to install a new rad or should I say in the end if I replace it without removing the body will I wish I did. Thanks

It is possible to change the radiator without removing the body, it just takes a little longer when working from below.

Well, no such thing as a 2003 Mk4. They weren't available then. But Doug is right, should be absolutely possible to change the radiator without removing the body. Would have to be from the bottom, and (like everything else) probably easier on a lift. But definitely doable.

That's how I have done it on my 04 mkII. No problem at all.
