Hey, Guys. Here's a quick snap of the new "Fangs O the Serpent" bumperettes that I'll be offering. These are just back from the chrome shop and they are beautiful.

A direct bolt on in place of the quick jacks, same spacing, bolts, hardware. Just remove the quick jacks and these slip on over the bolt heads where they are completely captured and held in place for blind tightening.

I'll have picture of them on the back of my car shortly. Since I don't have the quick jacks on the front I might have to approximate the placement. But, they are designed to be the same part front, back or side to side.

I plan on selling them in pairs. Finish is an issue - custom chrome is expensive, so as an additional alternative, I'm going to offer a couple of powder coat options and a raw option in case you want to paint or you have a local guy chrome for you.

Anyone that knows a quality chrome guy/shop that you feel is more than reasonable, please let me know.

They are CNC cut, tig/mig welded 18ga. cold rolled steel and double 11ga. mounting blocks. They are very stout, but were designed to collapse flat in the event of a catastrophic rear ender. I say this because I'm expecting the safety police to quickly point out what happens when our "fangs" puncture the fuel tank. The sheet metal is no more of a threat than the double bolts and other paraphernalia already in that vicinity. You'll see this for yourself in actual installations.

Anyway, I'm wrestling with the pricing. Naturally the only other offering out there is the existing overiders, which will be cheaper - but don't compliment the car very well IMO. The powder coat option will be readily affordable, but I think the chrome will give pause because they will be about double the cost, unless I find a better alternative. These were done at Space Coast Plating in Melbourne - I don't think anyone does a better job, but they're proud of their work.

These look killer on the car and are more in keeping with the theme, quality and look of custom car build.

I'd appreciate any thoughts or comments.

Can't wait to see pics of this on a car. This looks to go perfectly with my "modern version" of a MK4 rather than the look of an original.

Good Job!
