Since 1995, we have constantly changed, improved, and invested in our company and cars. That is more true today than ever before! A year ago, I purchased my brother’s shares of Factory Five and was able to accelerate this process of improvement and investment tremendously.

The result? Never before in our 15+ year history have we built the quality, value, and performance that we are building today. The road ahead is indeed brighter than ever, and the crew has again crafted a great special that will make it easier for you to join the Factory Five family.

Great specials, when do they expire on the MK4 packages?

Does anyone know if there have been better specials than this? Personally I'm glad they are offering an IRS package and am contemplating pulling the trigger on that one. If there was a special that combined the IRS option and the chrome package, I'd be all over that like white one rice!
Also, maybe we can clear this up while we are at it. For those that have read the "How to build cobra kit cars" book by Brian Smith, did anyone notice on page 37 where Brian shows his projected budget and actual cost that the actual cost of the MKIV complete kit was just $9,900.00? It's hard to believe that was a typo the editors wouldn't have caught. Does anyone know if he actually paid that amount for the complete kit before upgrades? Could this have been a special price that FFR gave him because he was writing the book/manual? Or, is this an annual sale that is done once a year like Black Friday? If its that, I'll camp out in front of the factory for a week:). Any insight on the sales that FFR does would be great for the budget minded shopper that I am. I'm going to be at the Huntington Beach cruise in so if Brian Smith is there, I'll try to ask him and report back.

WOW!!! Those packages look pretty good to me. Hits just a little early for my plan of the end of this year or beginning of 2014 to place my order.
Just got the go ahead from my wife a month ago but the agreement was to finish some other things prior to diving in.
Which one do I pick? Continued marriage or car build:)

Do what I did. I put my deposit down to lock in the price, but requested delivery to be several months out for the exact same reason. I had some other projects that the boss said i had to finish first:)

I've been kicking around the forums for a few years, and on my second build. I would say this special is pretty typical of the FFR promotions. I remember once they had a really smoking deal on a Roadster that was ready for delivery (or already delivered, don't remember) and the buyer backed out. Now that was better than most. But in general, these offers are what you can normally expect.

Clearly a typo of some kind. My guess is should have been $19,900. As Maxwell Smart used to say, "Missed it by that much..."

edwardb you're right. I added all his actual costs for his build up and the difference was pretty much the $10K typo. Oh well, guess it didn't hurt to hold out hope for that crazy of a discount. This deal is pretty good given what I'm looking for and hopefully I can work it so I can take advantage of it. Anyone know how long FFR would be willing to hold the deal if I put down a deposit?
Thanks.
