Got to go to a one track event yesterday with the coupe. First time on the track with it. A couple issues came up (one tire is rubbing and not getting enough rear brake power). It handles pretty well. I was seeing sustained over 1g in some of the turns. It still needs some tuning but it is predictable enough for driving at the One Lap race.
Make sure you turn the HD on.

very cool! looks like a very successful first day out, I only hope mine goes as well. love the camera angles! Speaking of that...looks like you could use a rear wheel spacer. Tire seems to be rubbing a bit. Best of luck in the one lap of America.

Nice video. Did you know there was a problem in the wheel well, or was that an accidental find?
Either way its got to be awesome to go out and beat on it now!

We didn't know there was going to be a problem. Staticly there is a lot of space between the tire and roll bar. It just rubs under compression and left hand turns. We are going to fix it temporarily with a wheel spacer, then this summer we are going to get a set of Forgeline wheels for it so we will b able to get the wheel made with an offset that will keep it from rubbing.

Awesome vid! Thanks for posting. Great idea using the camera to investigate the wheel rub.
