Does the TASCA pricing seem somewhat high to anyone else?

Their pulley kits add almost 2grand to the packages and they are re-doing them, but from what I know of the guys there, they are a 100 percent quality organization. Stay tuned for more on these packages.

Ouch! I had to look. I have the same 306 340HP T5 setup in my Mk 4. I'm pretty sure I'm under 8K for what they want 13K for. Yep, thats a little strong for us regular folks.

What I dont understand is from what I know these are regular Ford Racing engines, I know that they are a great shop and they might have a special pulley system, but how many of us here ever spent 2 grand on a pulley? Let me just say I know that Tasca and Factory Five are working together and I feel if Im giving them a hard time Im giving Dave Smith a hard time, if your reading this Dave Im not doing that. FFR has made a Roadster that the regular guy can build and we are all greatfull to you for that. But these engines cost almost as much as the complete kit, which is kind of hard for that "regular guy" that bought your kit to afford. God Bless you if you can afford the Tasca engine, I just don't have the funds to pull it off. Levy and Forte put out basicly the same engines for a lot less and I haven't heard a complant yet, in fact just the opposite. Once again Dave....your the man

I really was looking forward to hearing the details of this for the roadster. I have a MK3 I am finishing up. I have 4.6 Cobra motor ready to go in, but since they came out with the new 5.0 I have been heavily leaning to going with that, but at that price........

I have called them several times to get pricing or availability on parts.
I have never gotten anyone on the phone......
Always a voice mail, they will never get my business.

Keep in mind that nobody pays MSRP for Ford vehicles (nobody I know anyway). I can't post the numbers, but I paid far less than MSRP for my Coyote and TKO600 when I ordered it last week. Check racing shops, online forums, etc but don't pay list price!
