As I will be installing Goodyear "Billboards" on my coupe, I ordered the FFR 15" replica Hali wheels. They shipped with valve stems in the box. I know that these are drop shipped directly from the actual manufacturer (i dont know their name), but I will warn everyone that the stems dont fit the wheels.
The problem is that there is a machined shoulder inside the wheel around the stem hole. If you use a conventional rubber bulb style stem, the bulb butt is too large to fit in this shouldered hole. Unfortunately this is the style of stem they ship.
So, in typical fashion, as opposed to waiting another 8 weeks for new stems from FFR, i went on a local search and found that a good "bolt-in" stem will do the trick. Most common bolt-in stems have 2 rubber gaskets. All you need to do is remove the gaskets and reverse them-- fits like a glove!
