I need to indicate the SAE ratings for the following in order to move to the next step of registration
Headlights
Side Marker Front and Rear
Directional Front and Rear
Tail Lights
Brake Lights
License plate lights
Backup Lights

What did you guys put down so it goes through? any ideas, i dont think our front lenses have SAE ratings, nor do the a lot of the rest of them.

I believe they have European ratings on them. I don't know if the inspector will approve of the European codes, or if the equivalent SAE code can thus be stated, but IIRC they are all rated lights and should be fine. You just need to make sure they are stated correctly. Sorry I can't be more help, as I realize I did not really answer your question.

I would call FFR, DMV gave me a hard time about bumpers on the coupe I was going to do, no bumpers no pass they said. So I scrapped the coupe idea. You could also give Tom Noonan a call at the technical service bureau

ok so, Just got off the phone with a guy named Mark Engel at the Technical Services Bureau! He was EXTREMELY helpful, what a pleassure to talk to. He was very aware of factory five, this whole process and our cars, he's the guy that does the paperwork and he told me what to put down in order for the gtm's to legally pass. anyone looking to register in NY should contact him. 518-474-2019 when filling out the paperwork. I wish i could buy the man a drink!

JLnike,
Great news. I'm also in the paperwork stage with my GTM and all this info will be a great help. I'll be sure to give Mark a call.
Thanks
Steve
