what valve covers will fit this application?

my friend had me put on a 2000 5.0 explorer intake and manifold on an early cobra we are redoing. he bought "cobra" valve covers and there is not enough clearance to get them under the plenum. has anyone put this setup on and if so what valve covers did you wind up using? thank you for your time.

Explorer intake & Cobra valve covers, no problem with fit. Remove the upper, install covers, replace upper. I did remove some of the hard vacuum lines on the bottom side of the upper, tapped & plugged the holes:
