Is the 818 going to be at the Mitty?

818 is not going to any shows. we are planning on having a little shin-dig for it at open house, as the first kit will be loaded that day. but for now, the 818's stay here in Wareham. Joe@FFRTECH

Does this mean that the 818 will be excluded from Huntington Beach? For us on the west coast, waiting another year to see it will be unbearable. With Huntinon Beach at the end of April and homecoming in June, you can see my point. fFR is bringing their big rig out, surely there's room for at least the go-cart if not the "R" too.

I cannot promise anything, I am just going off of what iv been told. The red 818 is still in research/ development stages so that one is a no go. the Blue R version is complete, but i have been told it is staying local until open house. I know we are trying to find customers who would like to bring their personal cars to HB. if you would like us to pick up your completed car and bring it to HB for the show, give us a ring and we will give the details. I feel the need to vent. Last year I went go HB expecting to see the frame, only to find out there that the frame was used for the go-cart and was being tested. Ok I could understand that. This year, there's the blue R, a rolling frame, and the red car (S version I'm assuming). I know budgets are extremely tight, and defraying costs buy delivering customer orders and completed cars to the event help in this regard, but....come on Dave, I'm having severe withdrawal symptoms ...must have 818 ...

I will be at Mitty Friday and Saturday morning until noon. When you go over the bridge into the infield, the Cobra Corral will be on the right. Look for us there.

Even though the 818 won't be at HB it still will be an outstanding event. My son and myself will most likely be there pestering everyone from FFR with questions on details of the 818. Plus I'd really like a new t shirt.
