Ya I know it costs more to live in Ca... and way more than Ar but they are paying a boat load of money $$ to get me out there so ... I'm considering the offer. Not so much for the $$ but more for some programs for Jake that UCLA Med Center has.

SOOOoo... What's it going to take to get the Mark I registered and titled in Ca? I have a clean title in Ar as a 1997 replica.
What kinds of issues will I have with the other 2011 and 2010 vehicles which are not Ca smog certified?
And also my 31ft Class C RV ... I have been reading the Ca Motor Vehicle web site and that site is about as clear as a dark blue stain glass window!

Company is near Pasadena - so general LA Area.
It's not final yet but flights are being offered in case I don't want to drive... so it is getting serious.

Ralph, it is not hard but it does take some patience. Basically you will be registering it as a SPCNS, which is a specialty build. The process is similar to our SB100 process. In the coming weeks I'll see if I can come up with the form/forms you need on the CA DMV website.

BTW, Pasadena is about 20 minutes from us in Upland. Beautiful suburb to live in with a small town feel to it. With morning/afternoon traffic it is about 40 minutes from Pasadena. There are many local FFR owners out here in the area.

Looking forward to meeting you. We have a Cobra get together the first Saturday of every other month. We meet this Saturday in Oxnard. Since you love to drive, and the weather here is fantastic, driving the 65 or so miles should be easy for you. We usually have 15-20 Cobras, have lunch, BS a lot, and occasionally go for a short cruise somewhere

Last minute game change and Texas made a great offer.
I be cruising the streets of El Paso currently! Ya know that 80 mph speed limit on I20/I10 ROCKS!!!!! Lets just say we did a VERY through test of the engine I built for about 3 hours at sustained speeds of... cough...humm... exactly 80 mph and not a bit over hummm... (will be in confession this weekend for that ONE!)
