Hi- cpe 65 with 94 pedal box - no booster / no hydroboost- standard tandem MC with proportioning valve.

Just installed the front and rear kit. Bled several times-

Long pedal- firm toward end of range. Can not create much clamping force. Almost impossible to bed in new pads.

Standing on pedal can barely get a wheel to lock up.

I assume the MC are still the OEM size ( 1 "?)

If I drop to smaller master - wont pedal be longer?
If I go up in size I will have firmer pedal but less clamping force ?

I doubt the pedal modification was done. Anyway ways to know for sure?

Thanks...

Running stock pads with kit as well - this could be very hard pads as well.

Car is light track duty- non competition- fun

You still have air in the system. Go through and bleed the system again, make sure you bleed outside, then inside, then outside again on each caliper.

Louie,

The rear calipers are mounted low to clear the coil-overs but this can make them difficult to get the air out of. What works for us is unbolting them from the brackets and sliding them up the rotor until the bleeder screws are the absolute highest point. You have to make sure that the pads are still in complete contact with the rotor while doing this, and keep your fingers well clear of the moving parts on the caliper.
