For those with IRS especially not completed cars, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recomend Mike Fortes IRS adjusters. http://www.fortesparts.com/product_i...oducts_id=2976
They are only $450 if you install them and $550 if you send them to Mike for install. They will save time and probably dollars at the alignment shop. I do many wheel alignments at my shop so I speak from experience when I say it takes a 2 plus hour job and turns it into a 15 minute job just to adjust the rear on these cars.

Likey! Thanks for helping me spend my money. :)

I have a bunch of Mike's stuff on my car. I have always liked the way he supports these cars and doing business with him.
Having said all that, I don't think these adjusters are needed. I was able to get the alignment close and then had a shop finalize the job. I doubt that I will need to mess with the IRS alignment again and if I do, it really isn't that difficult to do.
My opinion, buy something else from Mike and give these a pass.

You are absolutely correct that they are not needed. I am a gadget guy, they look cool and might add value to the car. That said Mike and I are both in the auto/parts/repair business and business is absolutely terrible so it is a pleasure to help support his business as he would do for me.

Hi all,
I'm interested as I'm in Canada and if you don't know we only have one option to import a FFR kit to Canada. The base kit with deletions. Transport Canada will only allow the kit into Canada as long as it's without steering, suspension and fuel systems. So we have to deal with secondary companys for the rest to copmplete the project. So back to the IRS, the kit will come with only the cage and the half shafts. So is this kit from Mike Fortes a plus to the FFR set up or equal? It's a bit cheaper and has adjustments which I assume is the issue here.
While I'm here I've heard that FFR's tubular front lower control arms need a bushing from Breeze to cure a binding problem. Can anyone explain this issue to me? Many thanx.
Regards,
Andy

This sort of thing might not be as big deal for a street car, but for an autocross car where I've changed the alignment dozens of times, it would be a real time saver.

I change the rear alignment everyt ime I go to the track. But I only change camber, with the top bar. That only takes a couple of minutes. I never change the toe or track width.
