Personally I'd live to see a 1956 kit for a modern F150/F250. Even if it's just the front
I already have the F250 HD CC to be used.

There's a company down here in FL that has a kit to turn a Ford Ranger into a '36 Ford truck. It looks nice, but have no idea as to how complete it is. Thought it would be a neat driver, but no time or money to investigate right now. It would be cool to implement the donor concept of FFR's though with something like that.

I asked them about using the 33 chassis to make either a vintage pick-up or sedan delivery. The front end could stay the same the back would need a few more bars but both styles look very cool on a pinch nose car. There is a picture of a blue sedan delivery in the gallery for a visual reference. They have a lot of irons in the fire already so I don't expect anything soon, but they did say "it wasn't out of the question to do another body for the 33 frame"

From talking to Dave Smith a while back. a truck was in the close running with the 818, but the Subaru platform won out. He seemed pretty excited about the idea and I wouldn't count that out for a another FFR product someday. Someone already build a FFR '33 hot rod pickup, don't have any pictures handy though.

Yeah I saw that pic, it was a bit too rugged on the bed style for my taste, I had something a bit sleeker in mind with a tonneau cover on it.
Did you see the delivery in the gallery? Thoughts?

So, this is an interesting thread... timely, too. I'm going to look at a '47 Ford half-ton pickup this week. It currently has a '53 Mercury flathead V8 (the 255 cu in one) and a three speed on the floor. I'm thinking it needs a coyote motor, Tremec six-speed, and a FFR independent rear end kit.
More to come on this one, for sure.

As Arrowhead mentioned, prior to the 818 there was a very strong possibility that a truck was going to be next but it was to be a modern design, not vintage.
