For those with roots/car plans in Alaska, the registration process was pretty much painless.
DMV needed a form 812 (normal registration form), a form 811 (VIN/Vehicle inspection form) and the MCO. I spent longer waiting in line than it actually took to get a title and plates. Alaska titles the car as "Year: 2012, Make: FFRI, Model: Kit, Body: 2D" and your frame serial number as the VIN.
Now if only the temp would come up and the rest of the build was that quick...
