Body on and off question.

I am right now mounting my doors and such. I noticed that I had to flex the body quite a bit to pass over the door hinge stand offs. With no paint on the body this does not worry me. However I plan on removing the body for paint. Do you leave the stand offs on or remove them so the body does not have to flex so much to put it back on after paint? Anyone that has done this please give me your opinion. Thanks. T.W.:confused:

I leave them on and have had the body on and off multiple times (painted and non painted). Frankly, theres no way I'd take those brackets off, they are one of the most difficult parts to install on the whole car (with the body on).

Thanks. I'll make sure my paint guy puts some flex in the paint.

I left mine on after the body was painted with PPG water base paint and had no problem with the paint. Keep the door hinge mounts on.
