Primer on a MKIV

I am doing the body work on a MKIV for a friend. What primer are you guys using, and what sealer as well?

I like Evercoat's Slick Sand for a high build primer and PPG's DPLF for sealer.

I use FeatherFil high build primer.............no sealer.

Think about giving Slick Sand a try on your next one. The two are very similar however SS builds a couple of mils more per coat, has a slightly longer pot life and sands easier (yeah, I know, "sands easier" is realtive :)). After using both I've not found a downside to Slick Sand when compared to FF.

Slick sand does require a gun with a bigger tip than Feather Fill G2. The old Feather Fill was harder to sand for sure that the newer G2.
