Hi. I am on the verge of purchasing my donor WRX. before I order the 818, I have a few questions. I talked to Jim at the open house about a possible hybrid model. I am interested in the R model for enhanced track safety, but want to be able to register it in Connecticut. It needs to have a safety glass windshield, wipers, all lights, horn etc. Am I better off retrofitting the windshield from the 818 to the R model, or using the 818 chassis and adding additional chassis bars for track safety? Second, the prototype R model is shown without a passenger seat and a structural bar inside the pass. compartment. Any thought of allowing space for a passenger seat as required in most driver's schools? Third, have you noticed any wheel spin problems on track when using the WRX open front differential in the rear of the car? Also, in the 818 do we use the WRX front brakes, spindles, hubs in the front of the car, or are they moved with the half shafts, engine and trans. to the rear of the car - messing up the brake bias? Thanks for the help. Tom Moretta
