My kit arrives in August. I'm wondering if anyone in my area is getting their kit before me. If so are you looking for some help during my wait. I'd love to just swing by and check it out. Maybe give some pointer on floor sweeping.:rolleyes: Of course once I get mine I'll offer the same invite to new builders.
Does anyone know if FF is planing on bringing the 818 out to east and west coast kitcar shows?

I'm getting my kit in October and would love to get a preview, and offer a hand if needed. I'm down in San Diego.

I hope they bring it to the Huntington Beach Cruise In (https://www.factoryfive.com/whats-new/join-us-for-the-6th-annual-factory-five-huntington-beach-cruise-in/) in April. I"ll probably go; if either 818 is then I'm definitely going!

If you are in August, you are probably going to be one of the first... My kit comes in August too and I thought that was early.

Well, here (http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?8572-When-are-you-getting-your-818/page3) he posted that he was receiving his kit on June 15. Also, I need to change my date to the 22 of June :D!

I'd also be interested in checking out a build and lending a hand. I'm in Costa Mesa. Not on the wait list yet but planning on ordering in the next 18 months or so.

Im in the same boat as shinn. But im in orange county. Willing to lend a hand to any 818 builders in the area. Kinda want to check it out before I order in the next 3-5 years.

There is supposed to be a forum build. Dave Hodkins knows about it and he lives in chino.

Dave actually lives in Corona Del Mar. Not sure when he's getting his and haven't heard much on the forum build.

I'd be willing to help anyone south of Pendelton, Torrence and Corona are a little far for any regular help
