Pedal box and hydroboost m/c questions.

First question, is the white switch attached to the brake pedal the brake light switch or the cruise control brake disconnect switch ? Pedal box is the 94 and up style. That switch is preventing the brake pedal from returning all the way. Second question concerning the hydroboost master cylinder. I'm assuming the hydroboost tool is to remove the aluminum plate and studs along with the snap ring, is this correct ?

You can discard the white switch. The brake light switch mounts to the brake pedal in the same spot as the push rod.
Yes I believe the tool is to do what you said.
