Hi all, my name is James and I reside in Florida.
I'm new to the forum. I have not yet purchased a FFR kit, need to do some research first.
Everything I've heard, read and seen says that FFR kits are the only one to consider.

Now to my questions:
I need to get some interior dimensions, like headroom, legroom and seat width.
I'm 6"7", so these dims are an important part in my decision. So, if there are any 6'6" plus FFR owners
out there, I would like to hear about the comfort factor.

Almost forgot I'm interested in the '33 HotRod & Type 65 Coupe.

Also I would like a Ford 2.3 Lima Turbo powerplant, so if anybody has this
in there FFR I would like to hear about your experience.

Thanks James

Welcome to the madness! I have both a 33 and a coupe, and at 6' am pretty snug in both cars. You will need to make some modifications to fit well. I would highly recommend the "Salvaggio modification" of the coupe chassis. This lowers the seat 2" and makes headroom clearance livable for tall drivers. check out vnmss' blog on the competition coupe construction for details. As far as the 2.3 power plant, I have never heard of anyone using it. Let's face it, we're mostly v8 junkies! However if it uses ford modular motor mounts, bell housing, etc it should be fairly straightforward. Unless you are highly mechanically adept however and if this is your first kit, I would recommend just building the kit with a standard v8 package, low- medium power and have a blast! No reason to start the project by tripling you headaches!
