Somewhere I read that the Borden/Whitby SAI mod can be used with the Fox uprights if the adapter piece is modified.
How well does this work, and can the bits still be used with the SN95 parts at a later date?
Has anyone got a picture of those parts in this application?
Thanks!

Yes it can...with the right 17 inch wheels. I put the adapter piece on my Fox spindles and the wheel would just barely rotate w/ a little drag at a couple of spots. SO I contacted Jeff at Whitbys and asked if they could drill the tapered hole that the upper balljoint goes in 5/16 inch deeper. Said he could and did. I got it back and reinstalled it and all is well. This is a shot looking out towards the wheel from the center of the car.

As you can see his deeper drill gave me the 5/16 clearance I needed. Been this way for two years of autocrossing on DOT tires w/ no problem. I did not use the frame adapter peices to move the inner mounting point so needed to get longer sleeves for the UCAs. I don't get ALL the geometry benefits that the mod provides but the SAI is fixed and it is a noticeable change for the better. Edit: my wheels are the cmmon 9x17 Bullits from here

Thanks, Craig-- it took me a minute to realize that the shot was taken through the wheel!
