I hate to admit it, but I can't seem to fit the rear outside cochpit corners on my challenge car. Anyone have any pictures, or words of wisdom that might get me back on track. Thanks, Peter.

Peter, you have a MK2, MK3 or MK4? You will need to be creative with the pannels since they dont really fit that well.

Here is a pic of what I did on my car.

Hi John, Thank you for the pics. I have a MKIII chassis. Did your corners come in multiple pieces, or did you cut them? Mine came as one piece, actually I am on my 3rd set of pieces from FFR, one set was for a different car, the other were a second set of trans corners.

My biggest concern is interference with the body when doing "final" assembly.

Thanks Again, Peter.

Mine was in two pieces (lower and upper). If I were to do it again I'd fab the aluminum myself maybe try to make it in one piece. Make sure to have the body on because where it meets the body is a little tricky to get to seal. For example when I race in the rain there is a little gap in the corner that I did not do well and water spray from the tire goes right through that hole and sprays my arm during a race pretty bad. I fixed it by using duct tape :)

I have used Right Stuff to seal some pretty big gaps. McMaster-Carr has it.
