Here's a short video clip I took of the Cobra feature race at the 2012 Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca. The third car is one of the 6 original Daytona coupes! Turn up your sound!

As much as you love to see the old cars out on the track someone has big cojones to race that Daytona considering it's value and rarity..
BUT I did love seeing it out there! :D

Yeah, seeing them stack the wall with that original Daytona Coupe that weekend was definitely a oh sh** moment!

Yeah, I saw the Daytona Coupe after they unloaded it from the flatbed tow truck. Very somber in the pits ...

I guess when you can afford to race a multi-million dollar car the couple hundred thousand it cost to fix it isn't that big a deal. Would be nice to have an unlimited budget...
