I'm looking for a good picture of where the cables attached to the transmission. Trying to see if I need the U bracket linkage that's on the trans or if I can sell that.

I've seen one before, just don't remember where.

holy cow, I had pasted about 10 pictures and then the post disappeared.

I think the best shots out there are this one:

and the one from the track gallery with the engine cover off.

hard to see in both of them though

Yeah, the GRM is too far away, in the track testing one the guys hand is right over the top. DOH!

I thought there was another one too... but after checking out EVERY picture I could find no luck.

maybe it shows up in the youtube video and that's where we've seen it?

I'd be careful about selling too much. FFR is well known for using as much of the donor as possible, and I'm sure EVERYTHING on the 818 is fair game because of the price. Anything we have seen so far is a prototype and liable to change, so just because we haven't seen a bracket used yet, doesn't mean it won't be on the final product.

I'm not terribly concerned about this piece. They'll have to make a bracket to attach the cables to this bracket, so it wouldn't make sense to double them up. I could always machine a new one if necessary.

I asked, because the 06+ had an updated linkage that, with the upgraded bushings (that I have) sells new for $80. No sense in letting ~$60 sit on a shelf if the risk isn't high, and the recovery plan is easy.
