Forum seems to be getting more traffic than the other one. For the most part, are builders switching over or are most looking at both?

Don't know about the others, but I prefer the Coupe section over here. I tried to stay off the other one completely but I still spend a lot of time looking around. I wish more people would come over here. It's a great forum and we'd be supporting Factory Five.

I post in both, but will eventually shift to this one once the body of knowledge is built up. There is so much information in the archives of the other forum.

I started on the other forum but got turned off for some reason. Don't remember exactly why. This forum is an FFR supported venue and the spirit of FFR seems to be present here. That may sound a little corny but I think you know what I mean. As far as the knowledge base, I have found it most helpful except for a few instances. If I could get the search engine over here to work as well as the other one, I would be OK. Maybe it's just knowing the application well enough. Recently, there are several who are at the same stage (there abouts) as me, so it has been very nice to observe their activity. Club Cobra is interesting for the diversity but not great for technical stuff (IMO). I will continue cruising over there (FFcars) as needed but this is my home forum. WEK.

there is alot more gtm info/traffic on the other site still. it would help to have a 64k questions section like the other forum has also, imho.

Maybe more on the coupe here, but still way more roadster stuff on the other. I try to check in here often, but it seems like 2/3 or more posts are by 818 dreamers...just not my cup of tea. The knowledge/experience base here will get better with time, just not there yet.

I have no doubt this will be the "go to" source for 818 builders but the other will continue as the main resource for roadster info simply because of the existing data base and larger volume of traffic. There is a good bit of cross posting which helps build up the archives here but it will take a long time to reach the same level.

I think this is becoming a great site. It will take years for this to catch up, but I still love the confrontations in the "off topic' on FFCars.
I am very interested in the 818 since I was once a "4 banger" builder in the 70's. Datsuns.
There is an obvious younger crowd here, but just like me, they will learn. I say "*****en" They say "Stoked". They like crappy music, I don't- you know...
I say to those younger guys, keep those donors piling up, I know I gave my share.
The other site has become "commercial" and people have also become a little more "quick" to judge, but if you need an answer it is always there.
