I am getting close to installing my motor and trans. I was going to install the senders. The oil pressure sender with the gauges hits my block. I need a 45 adapter of some sort. I have a 5.0 anyone else have this happen?

Yes, that is the way it has been since the 60's. The factory uses an aluminum extension piece, with a 45* end. You can buy one from a lot of Mustang companies like Mustangs Plus. Or you can make one from brass fittings.

10/4 Thanks. I made a trip to NAPA and $4.98 later I had the fix.

What did you end up using for this? I have the tube pictured but makes the sender like 1/16" away from the upper control arm mount

Your other option is to mount the sender to the frame rail, and then connect it with a -4 line. That makes the sender pretty much vibration proof.

I just used bronze pipe fittings from my local hardware store.
