Normally I do not get involved with idealoligy and the end of the world baloney, but I pulled in to my shop couldersac (private property by the way,MINE!!!!) in the Cobra with five of these brightly adorned RV's parked around it. Knocked on the doors with nobody home, 1/2 hour before I am ready to open and they walk over from the local McDonalds got in their RV's and pulled out. I'm thinking just another PA based set of religious zealots (we have quite a few of all denominations and beliefs knocking on our doors year round), but then reading CNN.com this morning I stumble across this article:

http://www.cnn.com/2011/LIVING/03/06/judgment.day.caravan/index.html?hpt=C1 (http://http://www.cnn.com/2011/LIVING/03/06/judgment.day.caravan/index.html?hpt=C1)

So, now the world is going to end on May 21st, 2011

How silly will these people feel when they wake up on May 22nd? Or worse yet, will they become just another doomsday cult like Jim Jones? Scary to say the least.

Now, with all of that said, I'll be the first to say I hope they are wrong as I am signed up for three days of track time at SAAC 36 at VIR ,memorial day weekend 2011 ......... :D

Looks like it'll be radiation from Japan that gets us, and the date is probably spot on...

Here is something I never understood. Person believes in God. Person believes in Christ. Person then tells you that "God will bring judgement day on (Some day in the future)." If they really believed in God and Christ, why aren't they listening to what Christ said in Matthew 24? The disciples ask about his return and the end of the world. His response is that, "However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows."
To me, the fact that they are telling you when the world is coming to an end is proof that they don't believe in their own religion. Why should we believe them and their made up timeline? I am with you Bill....I wonder what that would be like on March 22 in their camp. Somebody nearby should bring them breakfast tacos on the 22nd. Tell them that God sent the tacos...he was out of mana.
FYI...I love God....I hate religion!

Did they mention a particular time of day this will happen or is this a rolling apocalypse starting at the international date line in the Pacific Ocean?
